Description

Nursing is an incredibly beautiful profession. Not many individuals can go into work knowing that they are truly saving and changing lives. With that beauty comes great responsibility and great emotional burden. We are allowed to love nursing, be a good nurse, and be affected by the profession. In this presentation, Operation Happy Nurse Founder, Shannon McPeek will walk you through her personal journey working as NICU nurse and how it led to her development of OCD, anxiety, and depression. Through her personal and shared experiences, Shannon developed a free mental wellness community for nurses where no nurse feels alone and every nurse can feel seen and heard.
