Leslie is certified in oncology and hospice palliative care through the Canadian Nurses Association and is the Director of Clinical Services for Bayshore Northern Staffing [a division of Bayshore HealthCare Ltd]. She is a nurse practitioner who provides direct patient primary care in Nunavut, Canada (the arctic). She has worked for Bayshore HealthCare for 25 years and has been integral in implementing and leading many clinical programs over her tenure. In her current role she is a clinical practitioner, consultant, educator, researcher and direct support for the nurses and paramedics. The nurses and paramedics of Bayshore Northern Staffing provide care and services to diverse Indigenous communities (First Nations, Inuit, and Métis) in remote, isolated, and semi-isolated areas and regions of Canada.
