Heidi Shelton, D.C., B.S, R.T(R) Dr. Shelton is a lecturer and clinical coordinator for the Comprehensive Medical Imaging Program at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. She is the author of Kowalczyk’s Pathology for Imaging Technologists; 9th ed, and was a contributing author for Radiographic Pathology for Technologists; 8th ed.
Dr. Shelton studied medical imaging at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, and has been a Radiologic Technologist since 2006. She also holds a bachelor’s degree in human biology and a Doctorate in Chiropractic Medicine from Texas Chiropractic College. In addition to being an ARRT Registered Radiologic Technologist, Dr. Shelton is licensed as a Chiropractic Physician in the state of Nevada.
Dr. Shelton is a current member of the American Society of Radiologic Technologists and serves on the Board of Directors for the Nevada Society of Radiologic Technologists. She is the faculty advisor for the Student Technologist Association in
Radiological Sciences at UNLV.
