Jennie LaDage has been a nurse for over 13 years and a travel nurse for the last 9 of those years. While ER is her passion, she has worked in ICU, PACU, medsurg traveling around both the country and the world. She was a frontline healthcare worker during the COIVD 19 pandemic working on dedicated COVID floors. She has worked at over 15 hospitals from Guam to California and parts in between. In early 2024 she was the sole medical provider on the research vessel the Thomas G. Thompson that sailed from Fremantle, Australia to the western edge of the ice shelf in Antarctica. Prior to nursing Jennie held jobs as diverse as tugboat deckhand, sea kayaking instructor, whitewater rafting guide, and ski patroller. She also achieved her 100 Ton Master License from the United States Coast Guard. She is a featured participant in ‘The Scheherazade Project – 1,001 ARTIVISTS’ She lives in Patagonia, Arizona with her husband, 2 children, and Black Lab Matcha Picchu Tea.
