Description
This presentation discusses the findings of the study, "The Experience of Ethical Challenges of Travel Nurses". In this presentation, I will discuss the findings of my qualitative descriptive research study which interviewed 15 travel nurses about their experiences in ethical challenges. This research highlights the ways that travel nurses may avoid, mitigate, or cope with moral distress. In this study, I found that travel nurses were underrepresented in the literature about moral distress, which is associated with high turnover rates and low job satisfaction scores. Yet, some literature indicates higher levels of job satisfaction among travel nurses. This study explored their experience and what future research should look into.
