This session will provide an overview of humanitarian opportunities for traveling healthcare professionals. Participants will learn about available roles and potential employers in the humanitarian sector as well as steps clinicians might take to prepare themselves for such opportunities. There will be discussion of both short and long term opportunities and a brief review of humanitarian history, ethics and controversies.
