Nonviolent Crisis Intervention® (NCI) Training prepares staff to prevent and de-escalate medium to high-risk behavior using both restrictive and non-restrictive methods. This training explores the effects of trauma and the psychology of the brain on the person in crisis as well as the responding individual. Training programs for NCI are delivered in an online and in-person format. Upon successful completion of the program, a certificate of completion along with a Blue Card valid for 1 year will be issued.
