Melanie Mosberg, MSW is a seasoned medical social worker with more than fourteen years of experience across diverse healthcare settings. She earned her Master of Social Work from the University of South Carolina in Columbia, completing her associate, bachelor's, and master's degrees within an eight-year span and graduating with her MSW at age 40. Her educational journey reflects a strong commitment to lifelong learning and professional growth.
Melanie began her social work career within a large hospital system in Charlotte, North Carolina, where she primarily supported adult and pediatric emergency departments. Over the course of her career, she has provided comprehensive social work services across multiple hospital disciplines, developing broad clinical expertise and a deep understanding
of complex patient needs.
For eight years, Melanie worked as a travel social worker, completing 18 assignments nationwide. Her experience in travel healthcare has strengthened her adaptability, cultural competence, and ability to quickly integrate into new clinical environments while maintaining a high standard of patient-centered care.
Melanie has been featured on an industry podcast: Travel Evolved (Episode 6: Navigating a Bad Assignment) and is a two time speaker at TravCon 22' and 23'. She also serves as a Healthcare Educator for Pathful (formally Nepris), where she supports and inspires the next generation of healthcare professionals.
