Brandy Pinkerton, RN, is a nationally recognized nurse mentor, speaker, and travel nurse educator with over 24 years of experience in neonatal and pediatric critical care, including Level IV NICU, PICU, flight nursing, critical care float pool, and travel nursing across the United States. Her work has taken her to hospitals in Florida, Colorado, Nevada, South Carolina, Texas, and Montana, giving her a broad perspective on patient care and the travel healthcare industry.
Brandy is the founder of Travel Nurse 101, a mentorship and education platform dedicated to helping nurses successfully transition into travel nursing while avoiding common pitfalls. She is a national conference speaker, returning to TravCon for four consecutive years and presenting at Nurse Blake’s NurseCon and other industry events.
She has been recognized by Nurse.org as Most Inspirational Nurse (2023), Best Nurse Mentor (2024), and Travel Nurse Content Creator of the Year (2026). Through speaking, writing, and mentorship, Brandy is passionate about empowering nurses to build fulfilling careers while creating community within the profession.
