Our Founder, Kris Stewart MBA, BScN, RN, CPHR, brings over 30 years of frontline nursing experience and leadership roles across acute, community, and residential care settings in both urban and remote areas, including the Canadian Arctic. Having worked in over 50 workplaces, primarily in contract positions, she has gained deep insights into workplace behaviors and common struggles faced by women.
Kris is currently pursuing doctoral studies in Leadership and Organizational Psychology. Her dissertation focuses on microaggressions, illuminating their foundations and the mitigation strategies needed to address them.
Kris combines her extensive experience with the research of Pat Heim PhD and Susan Murphy PhD, as detailed in their book "In the Company of Women: Why We Hurt Each Other" (used with permission). She understands the challenges faced by healthcare staff and has personally experienced the negative impacts of dysfunctional workplaces.
